Hats off to the Video Game Obudsman for tipping me off to this excellent rebuttal to the much-ballyhooed New Games Journalism concept: "THE WRITER IS NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON." Indeed. Here's to deflating self-importance wherever it exists! Except on my About page. Because I pwn j00.

Wow, replace the word "videogame" with "comic", and that article could also apply to comics journalism, or at least webcomics journalism.
